Peter Wreden (1929-2013) was a Roanoke Valley regional painter and sculptor widely known for his "Sculpture to Wear", which were often large, gestural, sterling pendant necklaces. In addition to his own works, he collected the art of his colleagues, and much of this collection showcases his connection to and interest in regional art.
